Ritual Herbal Salt Soak • Beltane (May Day) • May 1
Let this Beltane Blessing leave you renewed with the sense of anticipation of wonderful things to come that Forsythia imparts with her sudden, golden glow after the darkness of winter. Sacred Hawthorn lends happiness of Heart and is tied to fertility (babies, dreams, whatever you’re tryna grow!), while Mugwort builds psychic connections and invites a renewed sense of clarity. A few drops of Frankincense to aid you in drawing success, assist in the focusing of your conscious mind, and fan your reverence for Spirit + Universe as you move forward into the Light of the year. And, oh, by the way, these plants love your skin, too! Getchyo witchy babe self into a nice Beltane Bath and focus on the budding promises of Spring!
for Bath: Add 1/2 - 1 cup under the running water as you draw your nice, warm bath. If you don’t have a good drain strainer, use the muslin bag (included) to contain the salt and herb mixture—we like to tie it to the faucet so that the water runs through it as your tubbie fills. Then tie it up and drop the whole kit and caboodle right in!
for Foot soak: Add about 3 tablespoons to your foot basin, pour warm water over (as hot as you can manage without being uncomfortable!), swish it around with your feet. Consider using a muslin tea bag or piece of fabric to contain the herbs if you don’t have a good drain strainer to pour it through when you dispose of it.
Ingredients: Sea Salt, Epsom salts, Tatnic picked Forsythia, Organic Hawthorn Berries, homegrown Mugwort, Frankincense essential oil.
7 oz in reusable glass jar.
